8 alternative to breast augmentation

1. Botox injections.

Botox is a type of drug made from a toxin produced by a bacteria called the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Botox injections are used to blocks specific chemical signals that makes the muscles contract and can cause wrinkles. They are also used for breast augmentation. Botulinum toxin injections work by relaxing the muscles underneath the skin to create a smoother effect. It was firstly used for the treatment of wrinkles and is now used for breast augmentation. Although, its result is minor and doesn’t last long.

2. Laser treatments

For laser treatments, high-power energy beams are used to remove dead skin cells. It increases collagen production. This treatment is commonly used for wrinkles, scars, or age spots.  The skin elasticity can be increased marginally by increased collagen production, but any lifting or protruding results will be minor and probably temporary. The ligaments in the breast tissue aren’t made the same way with the face, and the same tightening result might not be achieved. For visible results, the repeated procedure may be necessary.

3.  Aptos threading

This procedure makes use of the Aptos thread. This is designed to move the skin around the breast upward physically. It is nicknamed the breast feather lift. The thread is inserted beneath the skin via a hypodermic needle and then secured together and pull upward. The procedure is still non-invasive, and its result may last up to 2 years.

4. Dermal fillers.

Injections used for the face are now being used for the breast to increase its size and shape. For instance, hyaluronic acid (HA)-based dermal fillers, such as Juvéderm and Restylane, the most commonly used for breast augmentation is Sculptra. It is a polylactic acid that lasts several months after injection. It stimulates more collagen production in the area that is being treated. It lacks long-term efficacy.

5. Thermage

This is another type of collagen-stimulating procedure, and radio waves are used to tighten the protein fibre within the skin. The surgeon uses a device called Thermacool to deliver radio waves into deeper skin layers. A tighter skin is visible immediately after a thermal treatment which enhances natural contours.

6. Vampire breast lift

Vampire breast lift, also known as (VBL), is an anti-ageing procedure that uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the blood. The overall of this technique is to lift the breast, similar to wearing a push-up bra slightly. The technique can lift due to less noticeable wrinkles and scars, but it won’t treat a sagging breast. Just like other alternatives, it provides minor and temporary results. VBL isn’t recommend for pregnant or breastfeeding women or women who have a history of breast cancer.

7. Caci bust treatment

It was first created as a form of muscle injury treatment; the Caci boobs treatment targets the chest muscles. The surgeon uses a handheld device to focus electric pulses on the muscles surrounding the breasts. It results in more toned chest muscles—the results on time and frequency of sessions of the procedure.

8. The Renuvion or J-Plasma device

The Renuvion or J-Plasma device is the latest technology for less invasive tightening. New collagen is produced by skin contraction induced by cold plasma. This device carefully delivers rejuvenating effects to the breast. A probe is inserted under the skin, tightened, and treated with plasma energy. It also defines the natural contours gaining helium gas ionized with radio waves energy. There are minimal results with a one-time treatment.

Non-surgical breast augmentation won’t give the same result as traditional breast surgery but could be considered if you do not want to undergo surgery or have implants.
